What on earth does a "walk out clause" actually mean? People saying it means he can leave if they go down. Well, aye, but surely any manager can resign and leave at any time he wants, Sam presumably doesn't have a walk out clause but if we went down we couldn't force him to stay at the club!

So explain' Bring' confidence. What exactly is this magical gift he's bringing you? Confidence is a thing you gain by learning, succeeding, overcoming challenges, understanding your failings and being honest enough to admit them.
Confidence is grown through effort, not 'Brought' by a f***ing Spanish messiah.

You and me both kidda! He flits in like a hangover fart, hangs around till we've all noticed him, then drifts off and the air clears :lol:

Very eloquently put ;) couldn't put it better myself........

He'll keep them up this season and we will lose the Derby. New manager bounce plus big SAMs shite record at Sid James

People were saying Allardyce would do this, 19 games later he is still saying we need to practice defensive drills. Unless he has a magic wand that will turn the stamp collector into Beckenbauer, he's still relying on the same players.
Exactly right.

Well he can offer his resignation they don't have to accept it ... He'd be in breach of contract i'd guess if he did that?

So you needed some to tell you that you were good to make you inspired? My self belief and pride in carrying out my role to the best of my ability, despite adversity, is what inspires me. I motivate myself, I don't wait until I'm failing and wait for someone to blow smoke up the arse of my ego to get me going. Pride is what drives me nothing else.

Good for you, I applaud you but all people are different and most, whatever level they are at, will respond to some encouraging words from their leader. You've picked an isolated incident to back up your point when you asked a general question and I answered it.

Im off to the bookies to put a quid on the mags to win the PL next season now with Fat Mike opening his cheque book and Fat Rafa as manager and a great eye for a player they'll dominate english football for years
He's being made out to be a mix of fergie and Jose on Twitter because he's cancelled a day off

It's his 50% or greater win ratio at every club he's been at that concerns me

Look at the players he had at said club's you talk about. Newcastle don't have them sort of player of the infrastructure also he's never been in this situation (relegation battle) before and I'm not sure he has time to change his outlook to fit in with Newcastle's plight.
