Newcastle Manager Situation

Still think its an odd choice for a relegation battle. Not sure he has ever been in this position.
He hasn't. Bad choice by the mags imo. They should have gone for Pearson or Moyes. Both know how to win ugly and drag teams out of trouble. Benitez has only managed top clubs that have top players. He's in for a shock with this lot :lol:

Benitez mightn't be experienced at that end of the table but the sad fact is that his arrival alone will boost them given his stature. :(

Fascinates me how some of our fans who were clamouring for Benitez when Di Canio left, suddenly "don't rate him" when hes linked to the mags

He failed at Napoli, he failed at Real his last success was Liverpool in the champions league and I dare bet he'll fail at the mags !

No defence no real strike force they've got a really good chance of going down !

Chelsea?

Never rated him. Even at Liverpool he tinkered like fuck but he had some good players and the likes of Gerard that pulled Liverpool through games by the scruff of the neck.

Wouldn't want him here, and that's honest (sure I've said on here the same thing before). Hoping this post doesn't come back to bite me on the arse

He was outstanding at Valencia and has had success at Chelsea and Liverpool since. Real Madrid don't hire muppet managers.

Boost who? He's not the type of manager to walk into the dressing room and the players instantly give that extra 25% and think I want to play for you.
