There's nowt on SSN. They're still saying the mags are in advanced talks with Benitez and McClaren is likely to be sacked by the time they play Leicester.
Not sure anyone is sure, Luke Edwards, aye I know, but just using it an example of the contradictions tweeted this

As things stand McClaren hasn't been sacked, Benitez remains in Liverpool & still hasn't talked to Charnley Both things need to change #nufc

I'm hoping this is another Ashley scam
Remember when they were in for Rooney, more bullshit.
People talking as if the deal is already done, maybe it is, but it would be funny as fuck if it fell through.

Ashley has a few worries at the moment. What with Sports Direct loosing their place in the FTSE 100, and under performing competitors JD sports. With the possibility of a prosecution if he doesn't appear before a Parliamentary Select committee to be quizzed and humiliated over his unfair working practices..

On top of all this it transpires Newcastle have allegedly no relegation clauses on their players contracts.
He is under pressure like never before in the last few years and is obviously prepared to pay out huge money to keep Newcastle up. Strange then that it hasnt happened already and I think if it's not confirmed tonight it's because Rafa is knocking em back.

If I'm correct these are open for the media to broadcast.

If that's the case it'll be great viewing ......... watching Ashley being questioned by people who can't be shouted down would be hilarious.

I would prefer scchteve to stay, if we win the next two games it wouldn't matter who they got in they wouldn't catch us as we are looking more solid. Saying that I think Rafa would be a good appointment and would improve them, I don't think he would want it though, he will have better offers with less risk in the summer. He is hard nosed enough for the job though if he took it, Chelsea fans hated him and he handled that well. He might take it just because he hates Sam though

I'm quite enjoying seeing him squirm. Shot with his own shite, hilarious.
