Newcastle Manager Situation

I'm not doing that at all.

Edit: In fact, let's be daft, show me where I did just for fun ....... just highlight the relevant dismissing and we'll call it quits.

You've been saying how crap they are for weeks man and their home form is a myth etc. Is that not being dismissive ? Maybe nonchalant was the wrong word, but you give me the impression you don't think we've got owt to fear.
You are entitled to feel that way of course, but I'm just more cautious by nature.

Ah right, so my post you quoted was actually fine and not included in your criticism, canny.

Nonchalant was certainly the wrong word so, at least, we agree on that.

The impression you have is your own imagination, I've never dismissed Newcastle and I fear every PL game because we're not very good.

The fact remains that Newcastle almost went down last season and are second from bottom this time.

As I keep saying they're just not very good, not that they won't give us a game ....... I've already said I'd take a draw ;)

BTW, their home form isn't anything special and, if you take away the Norwich 6, they're probably the lowest scorers.

I would love it if they're trying to force him to resign and he's just dithering on because he won't resign and then lose in the derby :lol:

Someone will be in the rafters with a sniper's rifle in case he loses that

Sky Sports reporting they've made contact with Benitez...

They couldn't get him, could they?... (I'd think they're safe if they do)

Why are people so sure he'll save them even if he does go there.

He's got no experience in relegation battles, been out of premier league for a while and most importantly can't buy so is stuck with the same average squad that put them in this position.

I'd much rather he went there than someone like moyes

Moyes has failed at his last 2 clubs.

There's quite a few decent manager's out of work but not a lot of fire fighters.

If the mags wanted to give themselves the best chance they'd be better off copying what we did with Advocaat, a short term manager, Redknapp for example. He saved Spuds from the drop when they were 2nd bottom.

For all those panicked by rafa has he ever taken of a squad that is problematic as the mags... Specifically one with such a poor defence... And no option to fix it
