Newcastle Manager Situation

Dream scenario...

NUFC Club Statement:
"Following a thorough review lasting several days, the board have given their full backing to Steve McClaren and his staff. We have every confidence that the quality of the squad will help the club move up the table."

Month after month, week after week, match after match I see people saying the Mags have 'a quality squad, good on their day, decent at home, etc etc etc'.

Not being contrary but if we'd just been humiliated in our last 3 games, and had their recent record, not ONE person would be saying that.

They're not good at home as they showed against Bournemouth, have virtually no quality outside of a poor first eleven and aren't a good attacking team.

There, I've said it ...... now I'm sorry but it's true

He plays very tactical and cautious football. Once they realise he's not giving them a return to the 'entertainers' they'll kick off with him too!

Agreed. Make the decision one way or another but leaving everyone in limbo is madness. Hopefully he limps through another 2 or 3 defeats, including us.
They never address the fans directly. They will get the mirror to write some article, or Coloccini will write an open letter to the fans.

The link was fucked up and it just says the shite as earlier mentioned in this thread.

NUFC UPDATE: Meeting between Steve McClaren & Lee Charnley has not happened. Understand McClaren heading home, far from happy with treatment
What treatment like? Have they stopped paying him?

Sky Sources: Planned meeting between head coach Steve McClaren & managing director has not taken place.
I'm holding onto the fact every journalist and their dog also said there was a meeting this afternoon that never happened.

Benitez is an average top 4 manager can do ok with top players but it's a completely different entity managing down the bottom of the league with shite players. I'd welcome him at the scum cause he isn't suited to that job.
