Newcastle Manager Situation

Aye, you're right - they're obviously on fire having won two matches since Christmas. Their nine defeats in the same period are clearly irrelevant. We're doomed.

divvent be like that man:lol::lol::lol: im on your side

NUFC UPDATE: Meeting between Steve McClaren & Lee Charnley has not happened. Understand McClaren heading home, far from happy with treatment

would anyone expect owt different from an organisation run by you know who ??? seriously, would they ????

Barcelona had a game in hand and still had to play at the nou camp.

He took Napoli from 2nd to 5th. Currently being shown up by a manager took from empoli.

Still closer than where they are now, he also won the coppa italia at Napoli. He's a far better manager than both Pearson and Moyes who look to be the alternatives

With their next game being Leicester away on Monday night, it'll be interesting to see when the new manager is announced? Usually when a team has a very difficult game coming up, they usually say the new manager will watch from the stands, to assess the team, but not taking charge of training until a few days later.

Is Raffa, Moyes etc got announced this week, there's a very good chance Newcastle could get Humped 3 or 4 nil off Leicester on Monday. That would be their new manager bounce gone, before its started :lol:. Plus they'd have a day off from training on Tuesday, leaving only a few days to train with the work shy shysters!!

Wasn't even a meeting according to this,

Steve McClaren left the Newcastle Training Ground in the direction of his home in Yarm, suggesting he and Lee Charnley have spoken by phone.
Bloody hell the journos are really twisting themselves inside out. Also if they spoke on the phone that photo of leaving the training ground smiling could be good news.
I'm grasping at straws

and people believe it when they report '' I am led to believe Messi is on his way in exchange for Sissoko and Haidara'' - full of shit know nowts

Wouldn't surprise me if they're trying to force him to quit, to avoid a pay off.
of course they are

No
Mind I know we've all taken the piss out of Maclaren, me as much as anyone but I don't think he's a twat like Pardew and the Mags have treated him disgracefully this week, in my opinion.
At this rate he'll have a case for constructive dismissal

I've just said on another post at this rate he will have a case to quit and do them for constructive dismissal.

I have doubt that he will have spoken to Charnley at some point over the last few days, they work together. I think the wall of silence NUFC always put up is even funnier than them coming out and saying he's safe. It just causes the rumours to turn to rage

Doesn't look like anythings happening today

Close of play at #nufc for another day. Things can change but looks like it's as we were.

The usual catastrophic clangers from Charnley and co.

They obviously want to sack him but they need a replacement in place and instead of sacking him, we'll keep him around incase we can't find anyone then sack him in the Summer.

And by the club saying absolutely nowt, not even to its preferred media partner, journos are just making stuff up.

Time will tell. His league finishes have been dire for years, that is a fact considering the teams and players he has managed.

He's notoriously a cup manager who tries to advance his cv and that's it.
