Newcastle Manager Situation

I imagine they are struggling to persuade their top choices of replacement to go and don't want to just sack him now and be left with no manager during a potentially lengthy period of looking. Do that and 2 games have gone by.

It's probably really frustrating for Newcastle fans but sensible if they can't get who they want. Why be left with no manager at all and if they commit to sacking him now as a statement and everyone turns it down they could be left taking on someone even worse and potentially inflaming the fans even more.

I'm taking the delay as they can't persuade anyone worth having to sign on.

They could probably have the board pick the team and still not do any worse

I'm giving you a like purely because I've read your signature and it's made me all warm and fuzzy inside

6 f***ing pages, how many after we did them again?

So basically no real different to Sunderland the last few seasons!

I think the Derby is expendable. The fans will get behind a suitable manager and that will encourage the players, who will up their game.

In the end though, relegation might be a good thing for any new manager who will get the opportunity to clear the shit out of the dressing room. If he can pick his own new players then he is on a roll.

Please go and get f***ing relegated

am actually starting to feel a bit sorry for the Tuft.

Can someone pls explain why CARR is not in the firing line too ??

So, he got Cabaye and Debuchy and made a combined profit of £20m or so.

However what losses are they going to take on Cabella, Thauvin, Riviere, Mitrovic, Lascelles, Darlow etc ?? The little french lad they got on a free has been a total waste of 20k pw anarl.

The myth that surrounds him has been totally blown to f**k and yet SM is hung out to dry despite having Carr's dross foisted upon him

The longer this goes on the better !

And with the mags not playing till Monday night, and even one last bad result for tufty, probably means they won't have anyone in before they play us.

My thoughts exactly. Paul Simpson for the derby, I reckon. Paul Simpson who was sacked by Stockport County last time he was a manager.
