I thought that was just my iPad or me Internet playing up, glad it's not just me. Your right though it's pathetic.
They have taken a lot of stick since they posted that front page letter. They have deleted several discussions about it and have been removing comments from other discussions that are negative towards the echo.

I noticed that. Have they not got the strength of their convictions?

So why didn't they sack him then, when it was highly unlikely he wouldn't play again before the trial, going into a transfer window where it was well documented we were hamstrung by financial fair play but could have sacked a player on £60, 000 a week and replaced him. Why didn't we sack him then instead of waiting and sacking him immediately he pleads guilty in the middle of a season when we can't replace him. Doesn't make much sense really does it?

What are you suggesting Janey? You are looking into what / if scenarios. What are you arguing against? SAFC were given police interviews where Johnson admitted knowing the age of the girl when kissing her and they are given the content of all the text messages. Its fact, undeniable (and it hasn't of course by SAFC) and the account of one of the most established and well though of QC's in the country.

Asking why SAFC didn't sack him is a question only they can answer but it doesn't alter anything else.

Incredible really that some people would clutch to straws that the legal team of a professional organisation would choose not to read 800+ text messages, transcripts and interviews that were given to them where their own player admits to kissing a year 10 girl when knowing her age. They are absolutely duty bound to pour through every bit of what they were given because they know that ignorance is not an excuse.

However you probably know that anyway
She said she handed them over immediately, even the speediest reader in the world would struggle to read all of those documents if they handed them over immediately. See this is part of the problem, people picking out only bits of the information to suit their agenda while not accepting the bits of information that don't suit their agenda.
That's not aimed at you directly by the way, and I've said myself I have no idea of the truth of the matter because I wasn't there as was nobody on this board.
But in not being there and in there being so many uncertainties on both sides of the debate I'm willing to give the club the benefit of the doubt, rather than the bloke that has systematically lied for a year and who has now been found guilty of sex offences against a child.

Absolutely. My view, old fashioned as it may be, when I first heard of this was what on earth was he doing sniffing about in the first place? when he has a pregnant girlfriend.
Loads of men cheat on their pregnant partners. Yet another sad fact of life, and far more likely to happen, than you'd think.

Wow, still people defending the club. Wonder how far wed have to go before people actually accepted the club had done something wrong.
This all day long.
The funny thing is those who are protesting the innocence of the club and not wishing to comment until they fully know the facts (the QCs remarks and fact sunderland never refuted them seemingly not being enough to convince some) are the same ones who'd be whooping and hollering from the rooftops if this was our nearest and dearest rivals in this situation.
It's an awful situation and the club just haven't helped themselves it seems.

 Only in your mind marra.

Do you understand the concept of legitimacy?

I've just tweeted Chris Young to be fair he replied but it's been re-tweeted a few times and has also got some support. So far I think the tweets are still there.
