And just to reiterate, by saying that I am in no way meaning to down play the seriousness of what happened between her and AJ.

There are too many who are ready to pounce on any alternative view and brand people 'AJ sympathisers'.
 
What a load of shite that echo thing is mind ya. All Sunderland fans should read and ask that? Aye then they can see how the local paper has gone to shit. I'm far from pro Maggie Byrne and I think she needs to go for the sake of the club. But how is it her fault, that he has to explain why Johnson got arrested and he has to take his pictures of him down? Replace the beginning with dear Adam Johnson and he'll have a point. Attention seeking at its finest and a total bag of shite story by the echo.

Got to hand it to a few of you though, your stamina for repeating the same 10 posts over and over again is amazing

Whoever he is should be shot with shit, and whoever agreed it was a good idea to put it on the front of a local paper,when emotions are running high should be shot with shit too.

But but but springs to kind. A lot of than in their defence. Always a sign of more questions that need to be answered.

I have never been like this on any other issue or topic so this has been new for me. Just feel strongly about it.

I think a lot of people would agree with you but the blame for that lies at the feet of AJ/his legal advisors for pleading not guilty until the trial started and forcing the victim to go through the court process on the remaining charges. His sentencing will quite rightly reflect that although that does nothing to address the damage caused to the victim.

Anyway, if people want to debate a serious subject, in whatever way, I'm sure you wouldn't want to deny them that privilege.

It's been remarkably peaceful and reasonable since the shouty people wore themselves to a standstill.

Everyone should just wait and see what happens now, I've stated my opinion in this thread as have countless others.

No ones opinion is going to change till the facts are released, if they aren't released then we have to come to terms with the fact that we'll never know.
