If it was a normal 28 year old employee accused of grooming a child they met and work and using their job to sexually exploit them they wouldn't need the evidence because the employee would be suspended immediately.

She was 14. Johnson is a scumbag who let himself down but I don't get why people aren't as outraged at the likes of Elvis & Bill Wyman, both of whom were guilty of abusing their positions & grooming children a lot younger than Johnson.

It appears so. Some are claiming Byrne had been supplied with transcripts of Johnson's interview. If that is true it surely raises questions as to how and why it ended up on her desk. Hopefully I've found the correct info. :D

it's not victim blaming to say an underage victim of a groomer should have told said groomer to stop grooming her if she didn't want to be groomed?

I don't think the police or any victim's charity in the history of the world ever would agree with you, but okay.

you see I'm interested in SAFC and follow them everywhere and hate to see people having a go at them like this. They may, or may not choose to respond. Maggie Byrne may well be brought to task but until such time, why the witch hunt? This is a club myself and many others love. I'm also finding out a few who couldn't give a fuck about it. That saddens me. I best leave the thread as there's no point people falling out as ultimately we will all have our own thoughts.

Witch hunt isn't against the club mate, it's against several employees, who happen to be senior management. No different to people saying players haven't done their job properly, except these are the CEO and whoever else was privy to the info. Nobody has beef with the club, we all love it to death.
