Adam Johnson Trial Verdict

So you really think the CEO, a lawyer by the way, had access to documents that directly pertained to one of her employees regarding a sex offence and she didn't read them?

I have no idea and neither do you which is my point.

The club statement says that the documents were passed straight to the QC which would seem like the correct course of action in a criminal case. What's not clear is how or why she had the documents in the first place.

What info did he give in that interview like?
Im assuming if it was the day of his arrest it was the information he gave in his first interview. I'm just highlighting that two police officers appear to have contradicted each other that's all.
I'm not using it as an argument as to the rights and wrongs

Well why don't you give us your version and present it as fact, you're good at that ;) - The winks because you're talking shite and I'll continue to argue with you but I have no real inclination to fall out with other supporters about this.

It's fine - although I obviously don't agree with what you're saying, you're saying your argument a lot better than most the people making your point of view on here. I still think you're chatting shit, mind.

So the FA have a say, the PFA have a say, the police have a say and during all that time our board still refuse to answer a simple question, convenient.

1st point :-
The club have done nothing wrong from a legal stand point, they got advice and followed the rules, it seems clear no wrong doing has happened.

2nd point :-
The club from a moral stand point are on very shaky ground and the more info that gets released the worse its getting, add to the fact that crappy statement that was released and I feel someone from the top has to go, this wont just go away.

If this was just about money, I am disgusted in the people who decided to let AJ play on with no regard to anything else.

Give over for fucks sake.

In my view, it will be a while before this club can hold its head high. It will always be viewed as SAFC's decision, irrespective if she was at the helm and had the final say. That's how it works.

If true, it certainly changes my view of the club. How could it not?

The "club" are the fans and the fans alone, the rest of them, the players, the owner and all the other staff change in a short amount of time and have mostly only financial interest in it. Only the fans have it in their hearts, you can be ashamed of individuals but not the club. A lot of posters on this thread have gone right down in my estimation.

Headline from the Daily Fail... Pictured: Paedophile Adam Johnson signs autographs for young fans just days before his child sex trial started

Am I right in thinking what he's done isn't classed as peodophilia?

Paedo is attraction to prepubescent children. The media use paedo for anyone under age even if they're 15 and 364 days

What else could it be about? There is no other justification (not that it is a justification at all) for allowing him to play, knowing what they knew.

Rocky Statement

I havent a f***ing clue what has gone on. I'm not a legal eagle and I envy all the posters of this here forum with legal qualifications who know the facts . In light of this I'd wish to state that I think Mr Johnson (the ex player, not the poster) is a bit of a wrang'un. His conduct is shameful to the club, the fans, his own family and most of all to the young lass he violated.

Rocky would like to make nee mare f***ing comments

Peace out

Basically this, legally the club did nothing wrong, morally they made a very, very bad decision.

I hear what you are saying, but I can't help or apologise about feeling uncomfortable with this organisation. If I've gone down in your estimation, that's unfortunate, but I'm just being honest.

This pretty much covers everything. Legally the club are covered but morally it's down to opinion hence the debate

Give over man, she'd be f***ing stupid not to.
