not really derby related but thought id share, took my lasses bairn to his first match ( family from Washington ,my lasses side of the family are barcodes and bairns dad is us )
my lasses side are typical gobshites, nobody goes to the games so I took the little fella and he loved it!

my lass got a text off her mate (went a few times in the glory days when they won fk all)

text about being a traitor, cant believe you let him go to a mackem match! even her 6yr old daughter was disgusted he went etc etc!!!

why is it that they feel the need to have a go?

I remember it well, it was my old band's first gig so I missed the actual game so just checked the score at full time, my heart sank.
Even without THAT Halloween shocker, I still won't be confident come Derby day :lol:
