No. Based on that we did bring defenders in. So that is doing something about it

And we have 0 clean sheets since the new lads came in...

I'm as happy as anyone about the results but a major reality check is needed if you think we are out of the woods.

I still think they will have enough. Look a different side at home, however the fact they are fodder on their travels means there is huge pressure on every game at the shit tip, which could be a factor.

I never said we were. I proved your first point to be incorrect now your making a lie up to try and dig yourself out

'Making a lie up'

So according to you we don't have to worry defensively anymore because we are sorted apparently?

Straight on the back foot after somebody disagrees with you. How pissed are you?

No, I said we sorted it. We brought in defenders because we needed them.
What more do you want? 100 CB's and hope we buy a superstar

We brought in much needed defenders and we are doing better, we aren't 'sorted' at all.
We haven't had a clean sheet in 13 games, we have been fortunate that we have been able to score goals.

Massive win today and certainly due a celebration but get a f***ing grip of yourself if you think we dont still need massive work.

The Newcastle defence is worse than the legal defence of a lad I used to know called John Adamson.

Your last statement is what I'm saying. You're embarrassing yourself

This. I said it at the time and others did but too many were wanking over their signings and them splashing the cash.

TBF Shelvey can do it but isn't consistent and Townsend has something but again isn't at all consistent or proven. Adding those may help them pull out of things, but not adding to their defence and relying on who they have in their defensive positions will mean it's a close run thing. They bought in positions they didn't really need to address, whereas at least we strengthened the main areas we needed to desperately address, barring maybe a right back - which we may already have here.

Shelvey is the only player they signed that they needed, and to be honest I thought that would be just enough for them. That defence is one of the worst I've seen in the premier league.
