Well done lads and lasses. Despite warnings and fear of loads of bother it didn't seem to materialise. None seen at service stations and I think I saw possibly one coach load of mags coming back.

All looks good for the inevitable Wembley showdown.....someday.....possibly.....hopefully.

My best mate used to live in the flat above the pub just over the road (Cricketers Arms I think?), what a nice place to live it was...

"Beautiful downtown Bramall Lane" as the announcer used to say. Billy Whitehurst was the landlord there

Next season's playoff final.

Anyone in the Millers during the first half of the United game? We were on the quizzy when there was a rumpus after a couple of them came in. They were getting heckled and shoved out when I turned round to see what was going on.
Just found out it was my workmate, there was 4 of them - 1 of which was he's son. Said they were just having a quiet drink watching the man utd game, when someone started having a go and a few pint glasses came over. He then said, one of ours stepped in and told everyone to pack in, as my workmate was with he's son, then the bouncers came over and asked them to leave.

By the way he's one of the soundest lads out there and he'll do anything for anybody - just sums some our fans up.

Probably, though the Sheffield derby is no Liverpool vs Everton
What's Sheffield city centre like on a derby day? Do United and Wed have their own pubs or mingle?

I'm often down Sheffield mainly drink around the Brown Bear, Graduate, Yates, Lloyd's, Sportsman.

There were no pint glasses thrown at all. Some lads got in a shoving match and the bouncers intervened. End of. Why add shit like that in to dramatise it, the pub was fuckin rammed, anyone throwing s pint glass would have hit someone without fail.

Cos it was a chance to slag our fans off marra.
Pint glasses and baseball bats, 50 onto 4.
If there were 4 SAFC in a pub rammed with mags, a- you'd hope they would have the sense to goto another pub, it was plain stupid the mags staying
B - I'm sure the mags wouldn't be as nice as the SAFC lads were in the millers

How many pint glasses were thrown from our fans that you're slagging off on here mate?
Think it sums up your mate, that he takes his nipper into a pub rammed with SAFC fans tbh.

Not slagging anyone off - I just said it "sums up some of ours up" - a couple of glasses got thrown from what he told me and he went in to see a couple of lads (Sunderland) he'd been talking to, on the train on the way down - said they'd meet up for a pint after the games.

I know plenty of mags and most of them are sound lads, but NONE of them would be daft enough to go into a pub packed with SAFC supporters after a game, even less so to take their son with them. Your mate may be a 'sound' bloke but he's also an idiot.
