Just read the thread this morning. Very sad story. Last I heard he was in rvi and going to have surgery. Family contacted and taking over. Rex and Glen (I think it was anyway) looked after him and making way back to Manchester.

Glen: Our mate is in the the RVI and will be for a few days. Fingers crossed he is going to be ok. His family have been contacted and will take over from here.

me and rex are now on the 4.45am train back to manchester after stopping at St James Park to piss on it

Apologies but I had to delete the thread.

The original OP wasn't aware of the circumstances when he started the thread and there were just too many inappropriate posts made before everyone realised the seriousness of the situation.

Hope the lad recovers.

Probably for the best like. A few people had to backtrack once they realised it wasn't a "drank too much" story. But can we keep this one open so we find out how he is?

Got on the wrong bus, assumed pissed, asked to get off when he realised, got off at wessy way/a19 roundabout then was hit by a car. IIRC

No apparently the lad, well a bloke in his 60s actually, had been ill recently and doesn't drink.
