I think this site is great.
I am a mag, thankfully I don't live in the NE anymore or else I would've put a bullet through my head by now, probably would've missed though.
I log on here about twice a week just to check on the banter and chat going on, most of the posts are pretty well constructed and thought out, you lot, like us, have a portion of knuckle dragging neanderthals that couldn't put words together. A mate of mine told me that he logs on here to find out whats going on at Newcastle, which I found comical, but true. Anyway, its only football, I believe we're all brothers and sisters from the NE, gods country, if we could put the hate aside, most of us would benefit from less stressful days at work...............
ps. we're both going out in the third round.

There's no hate on my part.

Like to see us beat you, a good day when we play them yes, but only because SAFC don't usually compete for much.

If we were anywhere near the top of the league I personally would forget about Newcastle in a heartbeat - not that I'm particularly thinking about them anyway. I don't watch any of their matches, but when I hear the results do like to see them lose.

In terms of the 'all brothers and sisters' comment, not for me. I'm from County Durham, and I think we're an entirely different people to Geordies. All of my older family always did and still do. This whole 'we were all Geordies once' doesn't wash with me. All of my family as far back as the club were formed have always gone to watch Sunderland and the ones in my living memory certainly have never considered themselves to be Geordies - as far back the 1920s.

A fair and reasoned opinion which i have digested and given thought to,now fuck off ya mag kernt.
This sums up the quality of the individuals posting on here tonight. I am a mag, so that makes me a kernt? give me an adjective, come on, please, here, I'll help you out. intelligent, handsome, successful, athletic. Or think of your own. Can you? do you know what an adjective is?

The brothers and sisters remark was more aligned to a football community, my mistake. Lines get blurred when football is talked about, what are Geordies? What are mackems? lots of conflicting historical facts as to what it means to be one or the other. Each family, individual, aligns with a team, we all have our burden.

Perhaps you're what you say you are and I'm wrong .......... where are you from?

Has this fella got a death-wish?
death wish? if you want I can send you map and how to find me, pretty sure you wouldn't be able to read it though.
So I am going to take a break to do some work, something you wouldn't know anything about. I'll be back in a bit to catch up on you're response, I have a team of linguists to translate for me.
