Sounds like half this boardHe's an absolute prick. He also strikes me as someone that thinks he's more intelligent and articulate as he really is.
No thanks.

Of course you would back a Manager who got a massive 2 points from 39 in a run of 13 games, because its a great set of results and not bad in any way shape or form as his team were playing really well every week.
No mate. Those league positions and form are fiction
Not in the Premier League. Sounds like you want Steve Bruce back. That type of sequence is what led to our 15 and 19 point seasons.......all credit to the bloke that he could turn it around from that point. If you check his previous history at all his clubs you'll find there are also long winning and unbeaten sequences.

But you stated that Leicester lost 18 of their first 19 games......![]()
SMB Hall of Fame, I've made it. Not liked by @ShieldsBlackCat2015, the board's biggest throbbing member. Is this @Idlewild Mackem you are talking about or Nigel Pearson?
Doesn't mean we should employ a bully.Aye....our managers just push refs over or shit on dressing room floors....![]()

Sorry...Misstype. The chart quite clearly shows the first 29 games. But use that to deflect anyway
No I wasn't, but he didn't pick on journalists and single them out. Look, you won't convince me of anything in regards to Pearson, he's an absolute bully and doesn't have the gravitas to back up his attitude. He's be a f***ing terrible appointment and if you back him then that's your opinion. Was that end of season sequence struck from the record books?
Didn't stop us employing one previously though.....were you so vehemently opposed to Keane at the time?
Your one decent run in season of 21 defeats as a successful PL manager. You definitely want Steve Bruce back, He's got a fair few of them in comparison to Pearson, so well ahead of him in the "good PL run" performance stakes. Was that end of season sequence struck from the record books?
Sorry, don't want him. He's a massive bully.
Did he suddenly find this ability to connect with only 8 games to go?? Just wondering why they were in such a position if the players were prepared to jump 'through metaphorical hoops of flame for Pearson'

It goes beyond results with him for me though, he's a bully and I don't want him in charge of my club.If he can bully them into 3 points and players like Vardy and Mhyrez.......Oh and soopa Kev as his no 2, we aint shopping at Harrods anymore

He was appointed as a Championship manager when we were bottom without a point in 5 games. Hardly the same requirement. You've made some piss poor argument in support of Pearson. I thought you liked him?.....were you so vehemently opposed to Keane at the time?

I look at the season holistically.....they stopped up in their first season, something that 40% of clubs fail to do and fostered a team spirit that has seen them kick on this season. Pearson also recruited reasonably well......Vardy for £1m from non-league football was a Kevin Phillips type signing. There was the 5-3 drubbing of Man U as a season highlight and overall they competed well in games and most of their losses were by a single goal margin.
It goes beyond results with him for me though, he's a bully and I don't want him in charge of my club.

I was happy to have a character in charge because that's what we needed at that point, so I was happy to have Keane. I don't understand the relevance to the conversation about Pearson though. You failed to answer my question earlier......what was your stance on Roy Keane. I can do a search and find out but I'd rather you just told me.

I'm judging him on what I've seen. He's not a "bully".
You're judging him by perception.
The players at Leicester would have ran through walls for him, they didn't feel intimidated by him and used to laugh about the press incidents that happened last season.
One thing Pearson will do is banish anyone who isn't up for the fight or is detrimental to team harmony. At Leicester he refused to play players on £40k a week in the Championship who were a bad influence, he got rid of them all in the end and left Leicester with a team who are one of the most bonded and closest teams in football.
