No, the debt was about £80M under Shepherd, Ashley has added nearly £50M on since he took over.

He may have been a bit of an oaf, but at least he tried to be successful.

It's well documented that if Mike had done due diligence and so decided not to take you over when he did that you would have been well and truly in the financial poo because of Freddie's dealings. That is not daft debate between rival football fans it's fact

We had debts and were losing money like a lot of other other clubs (your own included) but how exactly did he save us?
