They may be brilliant, but schteeve still has to get them playing together, blag won't work in this league, they will struggle imo. (fkng hope so).

The new lads will also upset the petulant clique, happy days.

I have a feeling it's not over yet either, I think we will sign Austin and Mitrovic and then possible we may still go in for Bas Dost and possibly Berahino. Dreamland and not ever going to happen quite possibly, why would we?

Mitrovic and Berahino are quality but the unfinished article, Bas Dost, Cisse and Austin are pretty much experienced pro's who we can ply together when we really need to kick arse and then also Mitrovic, Berahino not to mention Perez, Armstrong and even Riviere can play alongside hopefully learn from them I think if we don't get another 2 strikers this season then next season we will.


Mitrovic and Berahino would effectively be the pretenders to the throne in waiting and once we got into Europe we would certainly be requiring another 2 quality strikers anyway.


Kind of makes sense to start having those we want to take over in place each time. Long before we sell on.


Anyway we will at least hopefully be able to start focussing on defenders now.

Let them get excited and giddy. We all know when they build themselves up for a brilliant campaign it usually turns to shit.

They have a tough start, a derby defeat in October and they will be wanting to Boycoutt.

Wrong, he's got himself into this situation by cutting corners and flogging the squad down to it's bare bones. He's still doing the absolute minimum as far as I'm concerned.

We still need two first choice centre-backs, a left-back and at least one winger before the team looks anywhere near decent.
 
It's like Keegan all over again. The opposition will score 3 so the Mags will have to score 4....except I can see a few hidings for them.

You mean we'll have the fifth best defence in the league? With the third best attack? I'll begrudgingly take that I suppose.

Any particular reason, because I know nothing about him, the same can be said of Wijnaldum and our very own Lens.
