From what i've seen of him he certainly has the potential to be a top player in years to come but if so good why hasn't Man u or Southampton come in for him and why Dick feels he's not wanted that much to pay the 14.5 million to get him...I trust the 3 Dutch Managers judgement compared to McClarens!

Unfortunately don't think we are going to be in a position to blow £15m on one player...more so one without the fabled 'premier league experience'

Heard the best one this morning at the bairns footy, apparently we talked to Wijnaldum but he didn't want to play in red and white stripes again. We paid for his plane over anyway, Wijnaldum told the plane driver he's always liked nufc and he wants to sign for them. Burst out laughing thinking he was kidding, he wasn't

I think I need to start playing football manager because I had honestly never heard of this Whingydiddums fella before the transfer rumours started. I bet there's loads on here posting about him being a world beater who have really never seen or heard of him either.
