Last I heard was we completely moved on and are not interested anymore. We don't believe there is value. Think that's was said about 20 pages ago.

IF Newcastle get him, am sure I will see the negative posters launch a tirade against LC and Short.
I'd say that part is obvious

Strange lad you like. Say random shit all the time. Try to be logical then try to be out there with your 'sinning today' garbage.
Whey, its just standard for a new poster; try to impose their 'opinion' on you, when nee one cares and they dont get the attention they crave, they turn to trying to be 'funny' or 'controversial'

Aye, shame like and not a true reflection. Newcastle obviously feel that he is a better player than we did. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and isn't a reflection of penny pinching or being tight. Just a professional decision on ability and value.
Don't mind us moving on, he seems a good player but whether he's worth the £15m-£16m they're looking to pay I'm not so sure

Like someone just said earlier, if we can get some good deals ourselves - I won't be concerned if they made that signing

Said this yesterday, a lot saying that because Dick knows him then if we don't sign him it's a lack of ambition/willingness to spend.
When it's not impossible that it's exactly because Dick knows him he doesn't think he's worth whatever fee they want.

Who took that decision? The man who thought Rodwell's ability and value = 10m and Alvarez 8.5m? I'm more relaxed now, cheers.

Not really arsed, as long as we've got some decent deals ourselves going on behind the scenes.
is the correct answer

One team showing massive ambition by paying £15m for a player who will massively improve their team.

One team refusing to show any ambition whatsoever and targeting 31 year old Stewart Downing and a loan player from Chelsea.

Halycon days.

how the feck do you know he will massively improve them ??? hes played in the Dutch league all his life and the PL is a massive massive step up.
also, if hes that brilliant why have no one else in Europe come in for him ??? calm down ffs and see what happens between now and Sept 1st.
