I would be a excellent signing. Obviously, very far from being complete and as I have said, defo change in the way we do transfers. Same happened with Byram and a bid etc. Comes out and a quick downplay/denail follows.

He was downright taking the piss though. I trust my source but as I have said we are trying to do transfers a little differently.

Good to see the club being more professional about it, we have had a habit in the past of telling everyone who we are going for. Makes us look foolish imo, much prefer it done this way.

Dont know, havnt asked.

With reference to James tweet, he was one who I said are now downplaying it. Wouldn't it be strange that he was so confident he wrote a full article about it and then continued to confirm all day and quickly changed his mind. I highly doubt we have the same source and others are all wrong etc.

Sky, papers and journos know very little though, its been proven several times in the past. As @prehab26 says if its all being done prefessionally and behind the scenes nobody will know anything. Best way imo
 
Jesus if we get these players in that are quoted we are going to be competing with Southampton, getting excited haway lets climb the table :lol: I'd love to see Clasie and Wijnaldum in midfield together and Sow, Defoe up front
 
Wijnaldum's agent has been speaking and said we inquired whether Wijnaldum had a transfer clause in his contract 3 weeks ago, he doesn't so we've moved on.
