Will be at the request of all parties I would imagine. I said a while ago that we wont get burnt on transfer speculation like we have in the past. An awful lot is getting kept behind the scenes now, far more professional.
It certainly would mind, as I said somewhere else, with me pessimistic Sunderland supporting gene I am expecting Shaun Wright Phillips and Tom Ince to rock up anytime soon![]()
My sources tell me that Wijnaldum is only a diversion to put other clubs off the scent as Sunderland move for their No1 target, Aston Villa's Ashley Westwood.
You seem sound and I follow you on that there twitter but when you say a bid has been made, where do you have confirmation of this if things are as you say "being kept behind the scenes" can you be honest and say if this is just according to some usually accurate journos?
Heard anything on Moussa Sow mate?Just my usual source mate. Things are trying to be kept behind the scenes but as always, information leaks. Normally, both clubs like the deal to be near to completion before big announcements are made. Stops other clubs coming in at the last minute etc. Also, if the player rejects, we can move on without credibility/reputation taking a hit. Think that is more the case under LC.

As you know, I've no doubts about your info mate but is it not in a selling club's interest to try and initiate a bidding war if they're resigned to losing a player?Just my usual source mate. Any idea if this has been the case so far this Summer with anyone?

Skin reet backThere is a bid.
Aye, if we're in a position to be making those sorts of requests then it bodes well for the deal getting done.that is another way of looking at it. I am assuming that any denial would be at our request, due to the reasoning already posted. However, it maybe the case that we are the club that is closest to their valuation of the player and therefore, we can make stipulations.
Prehab's alright. Always seems to post in good faith and isn't an attention seeking bell.
Probably in the short term but it could be damaging to the clubs reputation long term.As you know, I've no doubts about your info mate but is it not in a selling club's interest to try and initiate a bidding war if they're resigned to losing a player?
