Kicking needs working on. Unless its a freekick straight on fletchers head to defoe for a wonder strike

Probably our Player of the Season, IMO.

Excellent at coming and collecting the ball from set pieces (unless Coates runs into him!) which relieves a lot of pressure.

We've been pretty lucky with goalkeepers in recent years though - Gordon, Mignolet, Mannone and Pantilimon have all done well for us. I'm happy to have him.

Oh when the saints.....slow vorsion

He's cannnny big, he's cannnnny tall, he's cannnnnny big, he's cannnny tall,
He's no 1, he's costel pantillmon,
He's cannny big, he's cannnnny tall.......

He's been the best thing to happen to us this season by miles, but look out for the retards who think a keepers distribution is more important than his ability to stop the ball going in the net.

Without a doubt for me. Possibly better than Craig as well.
Not good at stopping low shots for obvious reasons!and very slow at coming of his line!Woeful kicking !Great at corners and set pieces and does not get bullied! His size must put some of the strikers off imho.........good goalkeeper but has flaws and hence he plays for us rather than city!

mannone wa sbetter ladt season. tbh been f***ing dog shit most games yet everyome apart from me thinks he is better than de gea

Very good,i always feel more confident when he's in goal than Mannone,no daft mistakes and his size and extra reach has saved a few goals this season,we can't interest you in taking Rodwell back though can we??
We wont even charge a fee

You are so right , our keepers having good seasons have played a huge part in us managing to stay up each season. Will Pants be this seasons saviour ?

I was present at his two major fuck ups. Villa away in 1990, and Sheff Wed away in the FA Cup in 1993.

He had loads of fuck ups Norman he went from the sublime to the utterly ridiculous. Two against Villa at home same season, Brentford x 2 and plenty more but he also had some absolutely stunning games.

Better than Hart ☺

Distribution major part of goalkeeping Marra .

Well quite a number of goals keepers have no chance at all, some shots are straight at them.
If a keeper has 2 shots at him in a game saves one and has no chance with the other it's a meaningless stat if it's compared to another keeper who may have two shots that are bread and butter.

Pants may get more shots at him in games to save compared to De Gea but it does not say how difficult those shots are to keep out, therefore a stupid stat in my opinion.

I'm in no way saying Pants is not a decent keeper, he gives me no reason to suggest otherwise.
I like him, just we get bombarded with statistics that are literally meaningless drivel.
Or you just don't understand the whole point of averages.

Hope you get 2 more wins and maybe even the Mags might get sucked into it.
Finger on the pulse there.

Great to see you win last week and looks like Hull will go!! Would just like to know how big Pants has done in net this season? He was good for us and seemed a great lad. Didn't think he would get in the first team ahead of Mannone.

Hope you get 2 more wins and maybe even the Mags might get sucked into it.

Better than Hart in my opinion. Distribution needs some work though

He was terrible against Stoke in the cup and conceded against Darlington.
He's been class since he took over as number 1 though.
