Leicester play burnley next

Looking at the way things are panning out I don't know what to want - a point each is maybe best. You could say Leicester's run-in means, if not a draw, they are better inking Burnley into one of the spots, I can see them still escaping if BUrnley beat them. And we've still to play them in our "easiest game left" - oh shit...

Just checked i had 3 small accumulators on today 2 with 5 and one with 4 on and out of the combined 14 games, i only had 5 right overall and no more than 2 on a particular coupon. A lot of shock results today. Swindon, Woking, Bournemouth (think i avoided them) and Brentford being among the more obvious ones.

My point is we're f***ing gash you cretin and have been turned over at home by most of our relegation rivals.

How the fuck is a result against City last season relevant you tool.
How's your previous reply relevant?

It isn't. How about you have a bit of faith. Support our team and stop abusing fellow supporters.

I think it was them I was going off...

I can't believe Burton are in League 1.

I moved here 21 years ago and have seen them grow as a club from the Northern Premier league and up through the leagues. My lad was a mascot for them years ago when Clough junior was manager and Clough senior was in the stands taking the piss out of everyone.

It is a great achievement for a small club from a small town - SAFC are and will always be my club but it is nice to see a little local success - especially when compared to the current doom and gloom of our plight.

Aye, it's class. Seems to be by steady growth as well not massive burst followed by disinterest.

To be honest a lot of the success is due to the foundations that Nigel Clough built over his 10 years at the club and he should take a lot of credit. Gary Rowett took over and got to the play off final last year and started this season well before being lured by Birmingham City.

I was not sure how Hasselbaink would do but he has made some tough decisions and really improved the team. They have played 27 games under him, never conceded more than one goal in match and not played negative football at any stage.

Looking forward to next season already - can't comprehend that they may only be one league behind SAFC :eek:

Aye, that's a bit of a shocker.

Sounds like consistent good management there - Clough, as you say, did superbly, Rowett seems like a good manager and Jimmy Floyd has certainly started excellently. I'd expect them to bed in up in League 1 next season.

Aye I hope so. There are some miserable old knackers in the Burton crowd that I have heard complain when they have been 5 1 up. They will have to get used to the fact that the Brewers will probably lose more than win next year.

Lower mid table would be a great season.

Agreed, although there's not much difference between play-off battle and relegation battle in League 1.

Leicester will stay up now. Mags at home is a certain win too. They also have qpr at home.

Qpr will also beat the mags. It'll be us or qpr who go down with burnley and hull.

don't think its as cut and dry as that many people say mags wont get another point I cant see them losing what would be 9 in a row
