Sun ain't shining though is it, we are on the verge of returning to onscurity and all you want to do is regale with 5 in a row, glad you weren't in the trenches durin WWII we'd all be speaking Jorman now!
 
I beleive this collection would be better used as a way of us fans informing our players of how badly they have let us down again this season.

We should hire at least 1 plane for our next home game which displays "Fletcher - Mr Relegation".
 
I think we should use this money to buy a new centre back instead, 500 quid might get us a decent sunday league player, does Julio Arca know anyone at Willow Pond who could do a job?

The time for gloating is over. 5 in a row won't be much to celebrate if we're playing Rotherham next season.
 
This would be absolutely cringeworthy at best. Very well could end up relegated after being absolute dogshit all season but we've won the 2 matches that count so let's take the piss out that lot. :oops:
Tars all of us with a small town/small club mentality that were constantly getting accused of by them wankers. I honestly can't see why anyone thinks this is a good idea, it's just sad when it comes down to it.
 
Its fantastic and i can't wait to see the plane buzzing over the wongadome ......things can only get better can only get better etc ...well done to all the good humoured fans who donated and nuts to the rest of you .

The people that are for this are more bothered about flying a plane over Newcastles ground than Sunderlands current plight.

We seem to have a plight every year mate but we haven't beaten them up the road 5 times in a row before ...how does not having this plane fly over Newcastles ground improve our current plight ?

It doesn't mate , thing is if we beat Stoke and leicester most of those saying the plane is a bad idea would be like " yeah let's get a plane and rub the mags nose in it ". They're just too overcome with fright to do it now. That's small time " let's wait until we're safe and then gloat properly when they can't say owt back". It's 5 in a row up or down they can't deny it , the bigger men can still keep sense of humour while the world burns around them. Exactly what the mags are not doing with thier boycouts and the original plane idea

It makes no difference to our current plight.I was at all of the 5 games and enjoyed them immensely.To me that's it.History if you like.You and I aren't going to agree,that's fine.

Exactly, we will look small time and the memory will be dragged up for years to come. If we stay up-we get a mildly amusing jibe that will raise a smile for maybe a minute and will quickly be forgotten, if we get relegated we'll be a laughing stock and it'll be brought up at any opportunity.
 
I've thought long and hard about this, and I'm not in favour. That's nothing to do with our current position, and everything to do with it being something ridiculous they would likely do.

Sorry if this offends some of you who think it'd be a good idea.
 
Embarrassing to say the least. A fly past when we are more than likely going down. Yes we beat the scum 5 in a row and I loved it but ffs get a grip. Give the money to charity and be done with it man.
