I've been on a high all week, loving the players et al. Bounced to the stadium on a high talking about last week. Walked out the stadium absolutely sick and despise the twats again sadly. Thats football, the passion shown last week is onr side of that, the other end is people venting their frustartion at another horrible performance.

I didn't know the club was in such a financial state until I saw the accounts, if they were in a better state I would of probably disagreed with you unfortunately they are not.
 
Is Peter Kenyon still kicking about? A couple of million a year in his sky rocket might help save the club money. Bearing in mind we are about to miss out on about 60 million of it next year
 
No question some of his decisions have been poor, but he's done a lot of good too.

If anything he's been too trusting with the people he's put in place. He allowed Bruce to spend a huge amount on dross.

I don't think he should be hounded out though. Better the devil you know.
 
Are we talking about the Ellis Short of lone star the sherwed ruthless business man who as made millions from hedge funds, buying ailing business and asset stripping or the aulteristic one who bought an ailing football club from the north and ploughs his hard earned money into it with no return?

So you're prepared to hound the man out - mag bedsheet style - on the off-chance that someone might be there?

You see, the onus is actually on you to come up with prospective buyers - if you don't, then what's the point in even talking about Short leaving? He doesn't 'leave' - he needs to be bought out. By who?

This sack the board shit is pointless in today's game - you can't get rid of 'local businessman, made a few quid in town' and replace him with similar, because those types of chairman aren't the ones running clubs now. Not at this level. It's oil, gas, hedge funds and the like kind of people. Billionaires. The days of 'owns a car showroom on Hylton road' men are long gone.

Asking the owner to go is futile unless you have someone that A) has the money to buy him out and B) money invest.

So, yes - name them. Or end of discussion.

Not from me mate, he has absolutely no idea how run a football club, him Byrnne and this Congleton character are primarily responsible for the mess we an in, poor choices in managers, player policy, ambition. He hasn't got scooby
