He must think with his heart with football and brain in the normal business world cause he is far too easily conned in football, firstly for buying us and then given a f***ing agent a high and important role in the club

Pretty much what every owner of a football club does marra. You're another one blinded because he throws in some money. Look at his decision making, it's the same shit decisions year in, year out. Open you eyes man
Blinded? It's been completely essential to the club's sustainability. You'd be incredibly naive to believe otherwise. I'd agree with you that changing manager every season is a large contributing factor to our position, and I think he needs to stop pandering to those loud fans who shout for change at any sign of trouble.

If only putting on gigs made you a good football team.

Byrne is just Short's little yes-girl, wouldn't want any experienced football people questionning what he's doing.

To be fair that is his job though.

As has been said a million times how many clubs chief execs are football people.

Aye, he's a right **** for bank rolling all the shite that's been purchased.

I'll ask the same question that were asked when people wanted Poyet out... Who/What is the better alternative?

So what? Seriously, what is the point of having an owner who on the one hand puts a fair bit of money into the club, but on the other, makes shite appointments at every level of the club, so that it is pissed against the wall?

When we go down with Burnley, they will be in a far, far better position than us because they have lived within their means and made good appointments.

Staggering the lack of flak he gets.

Club is rotten from top to bottom
Where were these threads through out the week? Don't make out you've got some big issue or dissatisfaction with the structure of the whole club when, like the Mags, you only raise the point when we lose games.

The structure and the running of the club is the same as it was at 6pm last Sunday.

Because people make mistakes in any profession, business, walk of life. Putting his hand in his pocket to finance our spending is a decision. Are you just here to let off some steam or to say with the benefit of hindsight that he's a rubbish owner because we're struggling again?

I find it amazing how so many people think it's easy to make a club progress. Football is all relative. It's a league. There are 19 other teams trying to do exactly the same as us an only a certain amount of resources available to achieve that.

He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. How do you think it would have gone down if we'd "lived within our means" and gone down anyway? He'd have been slated for not putting his money in his pocket, of course.
