Hull v Sunderland - the hatred awakens

Think he's a nice bloke who gets an unfair amount of grief. Always comes across as a genuinely nice fella in his interviews and gives anyone the time of day for an interview. It went tits up after a bad run here and the fans have slated him ever since. I think we were wrong to sack him, he's finished top half the season before and deserved til the end of the season to turn things around. I'm pretty confident he would have kept us up, and I'm even more certain that f he had of stayed we'd be in a better situation than present. He is a better premier league manager than any of his replacements
As I said, a shithouse

They're irritating but will be back to their natural League 1 level soon enough...just as Wigan are now.

Our fans are far more obsessed with him than he is with is

Singing his name again last night and they scored immediately, our fans will never learn

 Just meant he made an effort to talk to us and craic on about the match. None of their fans seemed to have any issue with Sunderland. All seemed dead friendly.

Having said that, those on their forums don't seem to think much of us after a quick glance earlier.
The forum wallers don't attend games though.

We parked in housing estate right next to ground n it was dodgy as hell. Houses boarded up left right n centre! Horrible, horrible place. We ended up lost near ground in a street named 'gypsyville'.! Couldnt get out quick enough.

I grew up in East Yorkshire, the striking thing for me when I moved up to Sunderland was just how alike Sunderland and Hull are......Both port cities, both have huge areas of deprivation, both full of really genuine down to earth folk (with a large smattering of pond life, scratters and bellends who seem to revel in wrecking the place)....Both seen as the armpits of the country by most people across the rest of the country but loved by many of the people who live there.

There is nowhere in Sunderland as bad as 'gypsyville' n surrounding areas. Even worse than some of the worst area's of Liverpool.

Give over, the Squares in Southwick till very recent years? Hull is rough as fuck in places but so is Sunderland

there will come a time, when we smash them, god its gonna be bliss, to see his reaction hopefully at the stadium so it hurts him more.:D

Honestly, Southwick not a patch on what we seen yesterday. Locals were ok like, few knobs tryin to have a go at anyone with red n white on but u get that everywhere.

I think often you dont see what the area you live in is really like cause its home and you are used to it. I will pretty much guarantee that Hull fans say very much the same about some areas of Sunderland too lol

Their fans are generally ok. No hassle in the pub which was full of ours but with a few of theirs in. And the Hull fan in the chippy who bought a "posh fork" (only in Hull could a more rigid plastic fork be called posh. Lol) for me was canny
If Pieman wasnt manager and their ex SAFC players stopped cheating id have nowt against them (other than all their songs are nicked from others)
Its a good away trip

They're just another annoying club that has come up and beats us. Bruce will obviously take great satisfaction at his record v us aswell which makes things worse
