Dislike Hull and would happily send in the drones to flatten the place at the moment.
Mind, once they see sense and get rid of Bruce (they oddly seem to like him) i'll go back to not being arsed one little bit.

We're still struggling to get over his last summer transfer window with us! All his managerial appointments have followed a similar pattern - brings in loans / cheap buys - has a couple of good seasons then fails to build and ends up leaving the club in a mess with a load of deadwood.
 
The commentators last night noted that it must be something to do with the Hull bench that's seeing more than their fair share of managers having bust ups there.

Think he's a nice bloke who gets an unfair amount of grief. Always comes across as a genuinely nice fella in his interviews and gives anyone the time of day for an interview. It went tits up after a bad run here and the fans have slated him ever since. I think we were wrong to sack him, he's finished top half the season before and deserved til the end of the season to turn things around. I'm pretty confident he would have kept us up, and I'm even more certain that f he had of stayed we'd be in a better situation than present. He is a better premier league manager than any of his replacements
 
Hull has never been anything of a big rival to SAFC ever and still arent. Its only Bruce's angst at getting the bullet by us that drives this fixture to be anymore than the utterly mundane.

Let's look at some of his signings then. John Oshea and brown are our 2 best central defenders. Signings made after them such as cueller, Coates, Diakite are well gone or not even close to getting a game. Larsson and cattermole remain integral players to our midfield. Wickham remains our only decent young striker although his progress had been badly managed, again due to chopping and changing of managers. If Bruce had remained I'm sure he'd have been a better player by now. Out of interest what was Steve Bruce's net transfer spend during his time here? Because I seem to remember him making a profit of around 20m In one of the seasons he was in charge. His recruitment was better than any managers since. It may have been hit and miss but it's better than the miss and miss wev had since

He was sacked because O'Neil was available... Which I think 90% of people thought was a step up .

Sadly it's all went to rat shit.

He assembled a hell of a team, sadly he could not handle the egos. Replaced Zenden Henderson Malbranque Cana with Ji Vaughan Larsson and Gardner he also never played O'Shea at centreback iirc
 
I have Hull supporting family who were there and they said last night the noise from our fans was immense and best they have seen/heard from away fans.

aye like i said we got back 50 minutes later than expected as we were singing it coming out of the ground and loads of hull fans wanted photos with us, we will be taking scuba diving gear down to west ham to make this a proper nawty song and show west ham we wont be f***ing about, we will take over down there mark my post

We parked in housing estate right next to ground n it was dodgy as hell. Houses boarded up left right n centre! Horrible, horrible place. We ended up lost near ground in a street named 'gypsyville'.! Couldnt get out quick enough.
 
The way they have conducted themselves in targeting our players then feigning injury at the slightest retaliation disgusts me. It's playground stuff.

I hope they go down.

Not many gave a toss about him after he was sacked.
It was the whole "They only sacked wa cos am a Geordie" crap that he spouted after he'd gone. Thousands of Geordies follow Sunderland and we have a statue of a Geordie outside our ground ffs.

I'm one of them who wanted him to do well but since he comes out with lies all the time about the fans hated him from the start because he was a Geordie, I cant stand the pasty munching fat git now!
