Racist Chelsea fans.

I think the only defence they'll have now the police are looking into it is if they did push away multiple people from different nationalities/skin colours etc, otherwise the police are unlikely to believe them. If there is station platform CCTV footage of women/men of different races being pushed away then I don't see how they can prove it's racially motivated.

It won't though. Lets just say this Chelsea lad is a rascist nob and is banned. He'd be fuming and he'd be taking it out on random blacks in London, not being caught on camera in a public place. AKA You just drive this behaviour underground. I'm not condoning any of this by the way, I' just saying that this is very small fry and a million miles away from behavious even 15 year ago.

Really?? What a strange and confusing scenario you've described.

Nar it stands to reason. For example, if someone steals a pint of milk from your doorstep and you don't know if it's man, woman or donkey you can just attack anything that moves, drive it underground. After all, everyone is possibly a thieving pig.

If you stop different creeds and colours accessing the train, and then a black lad that you then address with a little ditty about being racist ... does that mean it's not racist?

Trying to play devil's advocate here!

Are there any quotes from this Parisian, stating that 'the big bald chap pushed me off the train because he said i was black'?

Until we all know the facts, i only see a man being prevented from boarding the train, similar to what some of our fans experience trying to get on the metro at Heworth or Pelaw on derby day. Then a minority of the Chelsea fans, obviously low life scum, further in the train sing a disgusting racist song.

A lot of assuming is going on here.
Be interesting to see how this would stand up in court and if there was any more footage showing if anyone else was prevented from boarding. There was no footage in that clip of the bald bloke saying or singing anything racist or why he prevented the lad from boarding. It seems as though the people singing the song were not the same people preventing him from boarding. His lawyer would probably use that as a defence. I suppose more evidence is needed (witness statements, other video footage) before being 100% certain on this.

If it turns out the bald bloke was indeed preventing the lad getting on just because of his skin colour then he should face the full consequences of the law.

Watch out, you're going to get shouted down as an apologist now you've dared to say that

Typical behaviour of young wannabee thugs on an away trip - especially when they are abroad and in a place where the opposing thugs are not a bunch of softies. They probably neither go to Chelsea games at home nor like football. I wouldn't give any great importance to the incident - we all know there are unsavoury people everywhere and every day things a thousand times worse will happen - it's all part of the human condition. I expect though that they will be identified and receive their just desserts - like 6 months in a Parisian jail in the Banlieue.
