Yep. Toronto based journalist said a while ago Altidore was expected around 3pm, so 8pm in the UK. Sky Sports News obviously caught wind of this but grasping time zones seems beyond them

This is true but his movement will be more dynamic so that should help the midfield create more - still, I'd feel better if we signed a midfielder who could dictate the play and/or Poyet changed the system.
