Not really arsed anyway like, just want him in red and white now. I don't particularly think he's going to blow teams away but lets face it he's a better option than what we've got at the minute. Concerning injury record last season too.

Maybe not as much as offered by others but at that age the length of deal will be as appealing to him as anything I'd imagine.
 

I still can't believe people are trying to equate the signing of Defoe to the general mis-management of transfers over the last 5 years (or more).

We have been presented with a unique opportunity to offload a striker who will never score in this league for one that is proven to score in this league. His wage, and length of contract are absolutely irrelevant unless you are stupid beyond belief.
