Deal won't be officially stamped yet as it carnt be. Waiting for MLS folk to stamp. Apparently, completely done on our end, which is a good thing.

The negativity from some on here is unbelievable. Moan that we don't spend any money, we don't score, we play too defensive then we sign a proven goalscorer albeit he's 32 and they still not happy.
He's a proven premiership goalscorer, 19 international goals, he had a decent record in the MLS too. We not the most attractive club to players therefore getting players like Defoe at 24/25 is going to be difficult, even at 32 we need to pay a bit more in wages and offer longer contracts to secure these deals.
Lets not forget we getting shot of Jozy so saving wages there.
I honestly think Defoe will knock a few goals in for us. Still capable of getting 10/15 goals a season.
Just hope we sign a midfielder and another defender now
