The OP is indeed a Cattermole hater, but I know him (OP, not Catts) and he's not usually one to spout bullshit and his source is believable based upon OPs job.

Although he hates Cattermole, OP loves eggs, Corrie and Mike Bassett so he's OK by me ;)

Mind you, if he's bullshitting, I hope he burns his eggs in the morning
