Racist chanting at the back of the South Stand

Tbf I'm all for an atmosphere and probably would tolerate someone wanting to stand a bit packed next to me, I've p not said anything when people have done it before, thankfully it isn't an issue this season.

That said, I would definitely challenge racism of anyone next to me. I don't understand the people who don't..they are complicit as far I'm concerned. Especially when it's as explicit as what appears it was in the SS tonight
 
Leaving the ground, in the car park opposite the Stokoe statue (where the police park), I noticed a car with the words "fuck allah" scrawled onto the drivers side window...absolute disgrace! Some right bell ends associated with our club. Always made worse on night games when the one-can-van-dammes come out to play

Fully agreed marra. I shifted a couple of games ago. Charver central who spend all game singing rip offs, mag and racist songs. Embarrassing. They've fucked the singing end.
 
Happened in my row so I seen/heard everything. The racist bile started in the first half with the odd shout of "fuck Allah" in amongst the chanting. After the 3rd goal though, they began throwing terms like that into usual football chant tunes and as the crowd had naturally quietened they were more audible. 3 stewards came up the back, stood on the stairs and listened to it for 10 minutes. Clearly weren't acting upon it so one decent young lad in my row took things into his own hands, telt them to fuck off home and stop darkening the name of our club or get outside and he'll put them straight. Racist scum then made their way down towards him, punches were thrown and we dragged the decent lad out of the way (as the stewards were clearly incapable of intervening). 30 seconds later, the police turned up and were met with a barrage of complaints as the stewards cowered at the top of the stand. Their reaction when they were informed of the lack of action from stewards was priceless. :lol: Order was restored, arrests made and they took statements from the lads involved in the scrap.

15 minutes later, Smithy turned up & hung around for 30 seconds, few pats on the back for the coppers and off he went again.

Was it the lad in purple who stood up to them?

I saw someone get a canny clip mind, some other bloke was trying to kick people as well. Really weird behaviour, we have some serious knuckle draggers associated with the club.

Black players are often called monkeys, nignogs and black bastards in that part of the ground. And these comments always seems to get a laugh from others. Appalling.

It's utterly irrelevant to SAFC and essentially the world at the minute, what have the IRA done lately? As someone else has just said its about as relevant as singing 'fuck the nazi's' and that would sound f***ing stupid as well.

Sang by the same folk dishing out racist comments to black players.
