The Mags

I think it is up to those who continually call for the managers head, be it mag or mackem, to say who they want to replace the incumbent. Anyone but is hardly an answer.

As for me I'm just looking at it realistically. Ashley is going nowhere and his approach is making him money so what is in it for him to make any sort of change? I dare say he might want to give an exceptional manager more leeway but you're living in cloud cuckoo land if you think anyone with excellent credentials is going to come here for a job. Given the financial imbalance between ourselves and Chelsea, Man City, Man U, Arsenal and even the Scousers we've got no chance of anything but Europa league so the big names are not going to come however much you want it.

Moyes is a possibility but he hasn't done enough to warrant a change of tack by the owner.

Not sure why you want to trust the club to Tuchel. I had to look him up and the best he's done is taken a team to 5th, or a German Pardew. He's no experience of the Premiership.

Eddie Howe has yoyo'd back and forth to Bournemouth. Another one with no experience of the Premiership.

Christophe Galtier, done nowt and no experience of the Premiership.

De Boer was approached recently for the Dutch job but said no. Why would he want to leave a winning side and come to a club where there is potential but also problems?

Until there is a change at the very top it's Pardew in for me.
Yanga-Mbiwa was running away from the ball last season and again against Schalke. For that disgraceful performance against Everton alone I would have got rid. His style might be better suited to the Italian game, but we don't play in Italy and on too many occasions for us he was shit.

Ben Arfa is a moody luxury who cannot be relied on to play as part of a team. As good as he could be he's wasting his own talent and we're well shot of him.
Are you actually Alan Pardew?

If so, fuck off Alan - you're a kernt.
They are still at it :lol:

Is it really essential that they have experience of the premiership? You're severely narrowing the recruitment field if so. There are plenty of successful managers that have had no experience of the Premiership.

It's your mentality that ensures the same old useless pigs are on the managerial merry-go-round and far better coaches aren't given a look in.

they were singing summit like "Pardew is our king" at full time :oops:

Utter rubbish. I was there. Not one chant of that as far as I could hear. Not from a single soul.

He's still hated by the vast majority. He could win a cup and he would still be despised. The man is a grade-A dickhead.

The only overseas managers who have lasted more than 2 consecutive years at a Premier League club are: Jol, Martinez, Wenger, Benitez, Houllier, Mancini, Tigana, Mourinho.

Dozens more have come in and been booted out / left within months. If they aren't going to be given a shit load of money and free reign to change things from top to bottom, then they need to have some other previous link to English football imo. Otherwise you just end up back where you started very quickly.

Would love to see our bunch of f***ing ******** go to Spurs and pick up three points. We are a f***ing disgrace and deserve to be back in the bottom three. Sick of football. Get ebola the lot of you.
Ah, another 'Subs Bench' poster after a defeat.

Ha'way then - which one of you WUMs is this alter ego then?

He's right though. We did amazingly well to draw with Spurs at home, granted they were on fire that day and appear to have struggled since but the mags have pulled off a hell of a result today...the bastards.

A journalist has just been on Talksport talking about their fans saying they are always writing, claiming to be deserving of success and different, both of which he disagrees with

So you're one of the 'Who else would work under Ashley group (group leader: John Anderson)? Such an easy cop out that ensures The King gets an easy ride.

It's not up to me to find a suitable candidate but I reckon a lot of managers would be up for it. Thomas Tuchel, David Moyes, Eddie Howe and Christophe Galtier may be interested. Infact, De Boer could be got if you push the boat out a bit more.

Have a look on here:

You had a good 4 year spell after the war: In 49-52 you finished 4th, 5th, 4th, 8th. Then between 68-72 you managed 10th, 9th, 7th, 12th. That's also an excellent era by your standards.

Then there was Keegan (3rd, 6th, 2nd, 2nd), and Robson before you drove him out.

If Pardew can manage another top half finish this year then you will have just enjoyed one of the greatest 4 year periods in your post war league history, perhaps even better than 68-72!

You must be delighted that Pardew is managing so well at a club of your size. Have you had any better managers than Pardew aside from Keegan and Robson?
