The club has no coherant plan of action and it just looks like a scattergun approach to everything. We dont really seem able to motivate the players; although little wonder as when the manager comes down hard on them then:

1. They get given new 1 year contracts, or
2. They go running to the CEO who fires the f***ing manager.

Our youth system produces fuckall and yet the bloke who has been in charge for 15 years seems to be unsackable.

We really are no nearer to having a good team/club than we were when I came in supporting them in 1971.

I can't see any other reason for him to say that, like.
 
I can accept being hammered 8-0 by a decent team (Im old enough to remember Watford in 1983) but I cant accept the coach absolving himself of any responsibility. Say what you like about Pardew - who I think is a complete Twat of the highest order - but he has taken responsibility for the shitty performances of his team.
 
I may be being a little harsh, but Poyet is a figure you only really feel is with you when things are going relatively well. The second there is a little trouble on the horizon, he seems to lurch into self-preservation mode, happy to hang out anyone to dry in the name of personal damage limitation.
