Dull game until the end like. If it wasn't for the Indians that ground would've been half-empty. Says a lot for the 'most popular form of the game'.
dull? morgan smashing 7 sixes, 70 in thirty one balls, some great catches, also comedy dropped catch, nigh on 360 runs scored in 40 overs and a raucous crowd

Seeing sixes getting smashed all over loses it's appeal by the 3rd or 4th one. High scores don't make up an entertaining game, just a sign of a poor pitch and loose bowling which was prevalent throughout. May of been a raucous crowd but it doesn't mean they were a good one.

No, just still waiting to be convinced that t20 is a half decent product. Use to not mind it when it first came in but having shoved in my face as the most popular form of the game when 4 of our most prestigious county teams can't even sell all their own respective allocations on finals day makes me wonder if that's really the case.

Would you deny it's f***ing massive in the subcontinent?

In England, it's competing with football for the same audience.

Also a great way for kids to get interested in the game. Would definitely take DD#1 if I thought she'd sit through 40 overs.

this last season the amount of kids both male and female, seems to have increased. i take a neighbours kid and he loved it, despite never watching cricket before. he was happy to get pictures taken and autographs from all the durham lads and mascots. he also got stonemans match cap signed by him, mcleod and hastings after the game where mcleod and hastings scored 130 in ten overs.
