.. might struggle with that top 4 place ....
That Rivière thing didn't have a shot that crossed the goal line. Out for throw ins
I'm not trying to give them a shot on target.. naw .. opta says that the defender must be the last man .. the keeper was beyond him ..
.. and if you check out sky or bbc you will see that they both show the scum has 0 shots on target .. seems it's just you who want to give them a shot on target, but wtf if you want them to have a shot on target you stick to your own yardstick if it makes you feel better ..
Always one ain't there. And we always create loads of gilt edged opportunities dont we

Let's take any game any team. You said a shot on target is ONLY a goal or a save. What is this scenario? Attacking player has shot from twenty yards, ball travels twelve yards and is clearly goalbound before hitting a defender and deflected out of play. It's not a goal and it isn't a save. It must therefore be a shot on target or off target. If 'blocked shot' is a category then it would surely be classed as that. But if only 'on target' and 'off target' are categories, where is this placed? Is it off target despite the shot being on target for twelve yards the the block taking it off target?
Jesus wept. You're getting your knickers in a right old twist over something that's not even there.. check out Opta mate .. also check how many shots on target the BBC & Sky have given them .. sorry, but I don't make the rules. You believe what you want to believe, I can't make this any clearer for you ..crack on ..
There is no doubt they will struggle, no one to score goals
This new French freak looks like he couldn't hit a cows arse with a shovel

Unfortunately they still have time to sign/loan a forward as they did with Remy.
.. true, and they've still got De Jong .. but wtf, make hay while the sun shines and they don't look like world beaters ..
If the ball fails to reach the goalkeepe or reach the goalline, it isn't a shot. A shot on target is a shot which either provides a goal or requires the prevention of 1 via a save. A deflection is not a save, and if it was even, the deflection took the ball no further off target, it simply looped it up.I'm not trying to give them a shot on target

I missed the first 30 mins today as watching the end of the test match. The mags were very organised and worked hard all over the park I also thought City were lucky with some of the fouls they got away with. However, the only time I was worried they actually might score was when that lad came on as sub and that shot squirmed an inch wide. That aside they were f***ing woeful in the final third. Hopefully pardiola thinks De Jong + todays crew is enough.
First sentence clears it up perfectly. Thanks for that.If the ball fails to reach the goalkeepe or reach the goalline, it isn't a shot.
