Boycott re: Ali. Disrespectful old windbag.

Never heard him slag off Underwood, Harbajhan or Jim Laker who bowled on more favourable wickets.

Ali is now the fastest English spinner to 20 wickets, I fancy him to be England's first choice twirler for several years to come.

With a FC average of 39 I'm sure he will come good. Always liked him as a batsman. Remember him playing last season at Durham, when we beat them, we couldnt get him out in either innings.

it is canny odd to see a professional player shit himself so badly when a ball comes up at him. can you imagine him facing mitchell johnson in tje ashes just gone? :eek:

Thats what im on about Next Year, when they come over. I've never seen a professional cricketer take their eye off the ball so badly when its coming towards him.
 
By all accounts Ali is more aggressive to the short ball in county cricket. For England he seems to be more defensive, not wanting to get out to it. I think he should play his natural attacking game. Either duck and get out of the way or hook and pull them.

R.e Boycott, I think he just says things to be controversial. Typical of a WUM.
