I think he is saying yes we may have agreed a fee but until Borini join us the money is sat under Ellis matress. The money is now getting released meaning everything is signed sealed and delivered.

The couldn't say the money is definitely being used on Borini if they knew he didn't want to come. There has clearly been some developments behind the scenes. This could mean there has been truth in the agent rumours. End of for me now mate, going round in circles. That money is being used on Fabio whether you want to believe it or not. I for one am believing it, got no reason not too.

He said it was "tied up", not that it had been released. It would be "tied up" from the moment we reached an agreement with Liverpool until the deal was dead (i.e. we pulled out).
