will not be coming via helicopter, due the the present weather above us now. could be sheltering in the tavern. anyone confirm yet.

Make of this what you will. If you look at me i hardly come on here, just like to read, so im no shitehawk. My opinions are my own. I generally do get little snippets of things but don't post, as its not worth it. Just passing on what iv'e heard from my mate, who by the way is not a Mackem.

He works in finance and has dealings with people high up in the club. Having had a discussion with some of them regarding finances, he casually said well you can add the 10-12mil back on for the upfront payment for Fabio. Of course he was nervously laughing to which a reply said, no thats all been accepted and happening.

Now my mate has nothing to gain or lose in his situation, this is just his job. Has been for over 6 years now, 3 of which he has been dealing with Sunderland. Has been categorically told this money is tied up and its just a matter of when it goes through and not if.

Make of it what you will. I am not saying the rumours about a medical or true or false but this deal will happen.

Lets just be patient. Fabio's coming home!!!!

Just his job for breaking confidentiality rules.

I smell a teeny bit of bullshit..........

EDIT: Seb'd by seconds.....

Like i say nothing to gain or lose. Its nothing confidential, the whole world knows we've bid. The guy who told my mate should be the one worried but i doubt any of them will be really. As its happening, just stating the obvious. I was just passing on and hoping to help calm people down.

2 things:

1) if it was an up-front payment, why would there be any ambiguity as to whether it was 10 or 12 million? It would be one or the other, since by its very nature, an "up-front" payment is not conditional, it's a fixed amount.

2) there's no f***ing way we would pay the full 10 or 12 million up-front.

3) A large chunk of the £10-£12m will be money owing from Henderson/Mignolet. I'd be surprised if we were parting with any more than £5m cash.

This is just how it was relayed to me. I know that as well as you about your 2 points. I do however know the exact upfront fee and what all the clauses are. As i said its a good friend of mine, ive known the figures for weeks now, im not going to disclose exact info. Like i said in original post i never come on here saying look at me (i know this can look like it). To reiterate, everybody wants Fabio home. I was just helping to clarify it.

He means the money as a whole has been allocated.

Tbh, its all academic anyway, the finer parts of the transfer are irrelevant as both clubs have confirmed a deal is in place.

The only outstanding issue is whether Borini wants to come.

Of course. From the info ive received its all but confirmed. The club had spoken to whoever they have had to (be it Borini himself/His agent), as i said my friend has been told the money will be getting used.
