How long can the f***ing BCCI carry on with this bollocks? You'd think that after the way this has dragged on and how quickly it was proved that they were just pursuing a bitter witch-hunt, they would just let it lie now.

Roll on Thursday, I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction the Old Trafford crowd give to both Anderson and Jadeja.

I'm not so sure Jadeja will play. He hasn't pulled up any trees.

If the ICC have any sense they'll fuck them off. I wonder how arsed the Indians would be pursuing this if they were told Anderson wouldn't be banned until AFTER this Tour?

Because it's coming blatantly apparent that they were only ever interested in getting him banned so they wouldn't have to face him.

I never liked India due to the BCCI anyway but I always thought maybe I was being harsh........ Clearly I was right to despise the bastards.

My dislike of India wouldn't put a down payment on my hatred of the Aussies

This. Funnier still that it backfired on the kernts. Playing his best cricket for years.

For me that's a different thing. I despise the Aussies, but there's a grudging respect there that doesn't apply to the cheating cûnts from India.
Very much how I feel about Australia as well, beating them is about getting one over on them while they play the game as hard as they can. Beating India is about putting them in their place when they try to manipulate the authorities to do things their way and act like they own and run the game.

Nah....as I said in another thread, its like being nasty to your granny.

Issue there is, we were visibly uncomfortable in the wake of Aussie sledging during the winter. Cook iirc wanted it toning down. We can't have it both ways.

True we were, but IMHO it's fair game even though I didn't like it at the time because we were on the receiving end. We should have been focusing on answering their sledging on the pitch rather than moaning about it, because the way we went on meant it had worked. We've done it to them when we've had the upper hand, they haven't liked it, but they've always just got on with it. Hence the grudging respect.

I definitely agree that we should focus on the cricket. Winning matches is the biggest sledge of all. Take note Jimmy!

I seem to remember wanting England to shut the Aussies up by performing, not by crying to the coaches and media to make them stop the nasty Australians.

Yes, thats what we all want. Anderson and Jadeja should just shake hands, forget the nonsense, and play the game.

India can huff and puff all they want.

Anderson is cleared, it should never have got this far. Dhoni, Fletcher and anyone else pushing this out of proportion have ended up looking foolish.

True. Ridiculously out of hand.
