Cricket clubs no longer in existance

Lots of works teams or ex works team amongst those clubs.

It is sad that the employers of today don't see the value in supporting sports as part of their social responsibilities.

There's a professionals league in Manchester that has 16 teams in it, a lot of the games are cancelled as people can't get the numbers. Company I work for only just about manages to scrape together a team and there's 2,000+ of us in Manchester. I just think there's enough clubs around for people who want to play so works teams aren't needed, certainly around Manchester.

Do you have a club house and your own pitch and play in a league? If not we are talking about different sorts of teams.

The clubs I am thinking of were full on clubs with all of the facilities and when they went the grounds were lost as well.
 
As a young lad in the 70s use to get in a team mates car and go to these grounds without really knowing where they were

Are Wardley still going ?
