He has been found out the last 3 seasons with us. Go and ask the rest of the premier league if theyd have him in their side. Hes a laughing stock amongst other clubs fans.

This place raved about Danny Collins
Couldn't give a shite what the rest of the league think about him tbh. Or their fans for that matter.
Love Catts me.

So when was he found out?

He started really well when he joined, in fact looked a different player to what we see now. Remember his run down the right wing and cross for a goal against Wigan I think?

He got a bad injury and he hasn't been the same since, so poor Bruce dropped him. Martin O Neil said he was a better golfer than footballer.

PDC dropped him, as did Poyet for a run of games. He has never been first name on the teamsheet as some would have you believe.

if he continues with his manly performances untarnished by red mist I'll be happy - haway Lee lad, you know it makes sense ;)

His run was down the left wing and against Blackburn.

So when was he found out or will it be this season? I'm confused

Oh and Bruce made him captain and O'neill gave him a new 4 year contract

Hes already been found out by pundits, the fans, and the league. Its only certain Sunderland fans who rate him.

Bruce also dropped him, O Neil signed Danny Graham. For a player who has zero competition as the holding player, he gets dropped by an awful lot of managers.

Sure he led us away from relegation, played a heroes part and began to show the form everyone knew he had but rarely maintained.
But the current fashion of PF posters for cat worship is no more than an embarrassing adolescent crush. You know you will all regret it and even deny it before ten matches are played this season.
He has proven too often how easily he can let us down in those bread and butter matches. I would compare him to a reformed alcoholic. I would trust him no more than one day at a time. When he screws up we will need Bridcutt and be sure, if Catts screws up more than once Gus will not tolerate it, he will be off to Hull in January.

He has his faults, but in the past he's let us down, had a few games got injured, then let us down again. Start of last season I'd ran out of patience with him as I thought he couldn't stay fit or keep his head. Apart from some idiocy at Hull away in frustration as they passed the ball around us and getting caught in possesion on occasions, I thought he had the most consistent season he's had here and was much improved, so I'm happy to keep with him. Just saying like....

And his manager and the Stoke manager. In fact anyone who had seen Sunderland last season barring the odd fan.

Bruce also dropped him

Then immediately restored him to the side. He took action at the time because of his discipline (or lack of it) in a few games at the beginning of a season and wanted to be seen to be acting on it. Realistically he was a player Bruce would never leave out for more than a game or two.

What have they found out? Bruce bought him twice and made him our captain. Bruce and O'neill rarely dropped him. In fact O'neill rushed him back from injuries to play

Forgive me for thinking you're talking utter shite

He costs us the first goal vs Man City, just another myth that he has learnt from his mistakes.

Oh come on Citeh blew us away in that spell, we were stretched allover the park it's a bit daft to blame individual errors for not being able to cope with that kind of quality.

Lets say we do blame him though, how is that not learning from his mistakes?

Because its exactly the same error v Villa. Dwelling on the ball instead of keeping it simple. He was robbed from Negredo, I could understand if it was Aguero whos just too fast but I must be quicker than Negredo.

Its a simple pass he takes a bad touch unaware of his surroundings, its poor play that costs us yet another goal. That's not fantastic play by Man City, its footballing basics.
