He started really well when he joined, in fact looked a different player to what we see now. Remember his run down the right wing and cross for a goal against Wigan I think?

He got a bad injury and he hasn't been the same since, so poor Bruce dropped him. Martin O Neil said he was a better golfer than footballer.

PDC dropped him, as did Poyet for a run of games. He has never been first name on the teamsheet as some would have you believe.

So when was he found out or will it be this season? I'm confused

Oh and Bruce made him captain and O'neill gave him a new 4 year contract

Hes already been found out by pundits, the fans, and the league. Its only certain Sunderland fans who rate him.

Bruce also dropped him, O Neil signed Danny Graham. For a player who has zero competition as the holding player, he gets dropped by an awful lot of managers.

He has his faults, but in the past he's let us down, had a few games got injured, then let us down again. Start of last season I'd ran out of patience with him as I thought he couldn't stay fit or keep his head. Apart from some idiocy at Hull away in frustration as they passed the ball around us and getting caught in possesion on occasions, I thought he had the most consistent season he's had here and was much improved, so I'm happy to keep with him. Just saying like....

Then immediately restored him to the side. He took action at the time because of his discipline (or lack of it) in a few games at the beginning of a season and wanted to be seen to be acting on it. Realistically he was a player Bruce would never leave out for more than a game or two.

What have they found out? Bruce bought him twice and made him our captain. Bruce and O'neill rarely dropped him. In fact O'neill rushed him back from injuries to play

Oh come on Citeh blew us away in that spell, we were stretched allover the park it's a bit daft to blame individual errors for not being able to cope with that kind of quality.

Lets say we do blame him though, how is that not learning from his mistakes?

Because its exactly the same error v Villa. Dwelling on the ball instead of keeping it simple. He was robbed from Negredo, I could understand if it was Aguero whos just too fast but I must be quicker than Negredo.

Its a simple pass he takes a bad touch unaware of his surroundings, its poor play that costs us yet another goal. That's not fantastic play by Man City, its footballing basics.
