And it comes out that it's 'cause he wants to stay with Liverpool to fight for his place, play Champions' League, etc. etc. how will you react towards him when Liverpool play at the SOL?
A little better than when the flame-haired midfield engine ace comes on in his new strip:evil:

Told the fatha at half time 'We're going to win this', shame we didn't but a great day.
I remember just being underneath the stand having 3 bottles of overpriced shite in my hand looking about and the atmosphere was very wierd.
Not ecstasy but just the noise of conversation and asking my owld man ''What you reckon''
He just looked at me and puffed out his cheeks. Said it all really

He came across passionate and willing to fight to help us lift a cup & beat the drop last season.

He played with his heart on his sleeve and he quickly became a fans favourite.

I got the impression he enjoyed his loan spell here.
Why wouldn't he want to join us permanently?
probably money he would be owed contractually by Liverpool were he to move that they are unwilling to pay

Playing for a big club back in Italy will mean he can play at a higher level & improve his international chances.
noone in Italy would pay the money he gets in England man.
if you believe modern day players play for honours over money you need help.

£££££ getting less money for a club that's probablies going to be in relegation scrap next year, or get more money for a club who will be there or thereabouts for the title next year? To be honest I can't believe it's took this long to think about it.
so what brought bent and aj to safc then?

Shouldn't have to. If a club is paying £10m + they should be able to pay his wages,
bollocks.
happens all the time especially since the rules re squad size and also ffp came in.
we even topped up kj's wage to get him off to stoke.
what you are suggesting/implying is that clubs break their
wage structure. Not to mention a sly swipe at the club.
safc have done all they are obliged to do.
if Liverpool wont comply contractually that' s their lookout.

It sound like his agent is refusing to let him go to Sunderland. I think the agent is think his Champions league football and international football is over. We all know it's rubbish talk but perception is everything.

he may be with a cl club but he wont be on cl money. There'll be 2 maybe 3 players on good money, the rest will be on the sort of money giacc was on at juve.
agents are blood sucking and venal to a degree that would embarass mr ponzi. His future 'honours' at age 28/29 are a distant second to his and his agents future wealth

What you saying like?

We were cup finalist last season.
We were 30 mins away from silverware.
The back end of last season was a sign of things to come & what were actually capable of.

But Borini wants to play in Europe and MIGTH be good enough for it. He's willling to wait and see if anybody else is interested in him

Either he thinks he's better than he is, either he doesn't want to play as a LM anymore, or maybe both.

he's only going to leave Liverpool if he receives all the money he believes is due to him or a buying club pays it out
on top of a signing on fee and big wages. That's only likely to happen if a top 6 club (excluding Everton who i doubt could afford 14m ) comes in.
with an incoming sign on fee, the foregone Liverpool pay off ( loyalty payment for not asking for transfers ) and first year wages we're talking 18m in year one, and 2.5, or 3.0m pa thereafter for 3 years.
no top 6 team want him nor would pay that. Barca, real, psg, Monaco and bayern don't want him so he's too expensive outside of England.
if you think honours mean more than money to any premier footballer you need a lie down and strong drugs

Cant see it at all, he didnt ask for a transfer, it wont be owt like that, its time to face facts man he doesnt want to come or we aint offering him enough to want to come.
