Thanks for playing nice and explaining... just unbelievable we need another thread for this...
I've been away and have hardly posted on this subject ( he's my favourite player from last season, need to change my avatar)

So I'm disappointed but can totally expect him stopping at Liverpool,, only way he'll come here is if Rodgers freezes him out and nobody else comes in for him

Because he hates Sunderland Council for their systematic abuse of Sunderland.

I'm right behind the stance he is taking! #sunderlandcouncilout

Because if you take your red and white specs off, we aren't a particularly attractive option.

Been in the league 8 years and are perpetually battling relegation,

So you'd cut your nose to spite your face?

In the world of business (football is exactly the same) you don't just have one deal on the go and sit waiting for answers on it. SAFC will already be looking at other targets and possibly have even submitted offers for them.

Staggering how many supporters think having no patience is a wise thing.

It's not a case of 'cutting your nose off to spite your face' it's like we're a lingering ex girlfriend that won't accept her husband has left her. We're clinging at hoping something is going to happen.

The deal looks dead and it seems Borini and his agent are stringing things out- taking the piss.

I'd get in touch with Borini and say "Either you come and sign or we move on"

The fact we agreed a deal 10 days ago and we still haven't seen Borini near Wearside, speaks volumes to me. How often have you seen that? Not much.

Johnson took an age last year - there's probably a lot more examples that you don't hear about because we're not party to everything that does on.

The club obviously think the deals still alive otherwise we'd have pulled out by now so I'll trust them to get on with it.

How do you know we havent given Borini a deadline already?

Liverpool waited 3 weeks for Origi to decide if he wanted to join them, he was doing exactly what Fabio is doing, trying to smoke out other potential buyers. No-one put a firm bid in so he said yes to the scousers. Everyone is happy.

Untill I hear from the club we have pulled out I still have hope
If this goes to deadline day, the whole board will be mentally exhausted and won't be as excited for the transfer as they originally were

We need Poyet to be asked about it and him to come out with a definite answer, instead of the shite such as "well, we are trying" as that just sounds it's been stalled from the beginning

We play tomorrow don't we? If so he's bound to be asked then, I really hope he gives us clarification and not more sitting on the fence

What if the definitive answer atm is that we are trying. Negotiating.
