It may well be true that we havent directly spoken to Borini since he left as unless you're 'Arry, you cant get away with it.

However, I'm sure we will have discussed it to some degree whilst he was with us and coupled with the fact that it was reasonably well known that Rodgers & was looking to move Fabio on, it wouldn't be a great surprise for us to make a bid for him with a reasonable assumption we'd at least get to talk to him.

It seems that Fabio (and more-so his agent no doubt) are trying to drag this out to try and smoke out other potential suitors - which doesnt appear to have worked as unless they are completely stupid they know his days at Liverpool are numbered. If we officially back out, which I think we will in the next couple of days, Borini will end up at some run of the mill club, like Stoke or West Ham.....

SSN is reporting that the Remy transfer has broken down because of Borini's "refusal" to transfer to Sunderland. That is really going to endear him to the Liverpool Faithful...... there may be trouble ahead ......
