I wonder if Arsenal fans were going on like some of the absolute wimps on here during their lengthy chase for Alexis Sanchez, or Man United's ongoing chase for Arturo Vidal.

Nee idea if he's gonna sign or not but not all transfers are happy plain sailing affairs.

My view on my club's stature is based on reality. We have offered massively over the odd's for a squad player who seems to think he can be an influence at Liverpool. They obviously think otherwise having accepted a ridiculous bid. Move on to who? You think £14m is 'cheap' for a bench warmer? The same club just signed a proven in Remy at £8.5m. Patience doesn't even enter the discussion, being dicked by mid table players does. You want to wait for Liverpool's 5th choice to deem us good enough? Fair play. For me, a Liverpool reserve being offered the opportunity to finally prove himself at a club that would cherish him, yet he still feels the need to let our valuable transfer time tick, makes me think he has a higher opinion of himself that the ability he has. You be patient, see you in the championship. We move on and get players who f***ing care about this great club.

So who should we go for then? How should we spend £14M there are not any players at other clubs, bar Jordan Henderson, who care about Sunderland. That type of player is gone. Forever.
